There was another capacity turnout for the Salem Township Hospital Foundation Golf Tournament on Friday.
Foundation Board Member Ola Chapman says it was a great day.
“We had another very successful golf tournament presented by Chariya and Preecha (Tawjareon) as they do every year. The weather was absolutely beautiful. We had 38 teams and 70 hole sponsors. We think we made about $27,000.”
The hospital’s new President/CEO James Timpe was in attendance.
“I couldn’t be more proud of our foundation, foundation board, volunteers, and everyone who organized this event. It was lovely. We had great weather. We had so many people supporting the hospital. It tells me what great supporters we have in our community and all throughout the community it sounds like people love to give back to the hospital which I couldn’t be happier about.”
Timpe says his first week on the job was good as he met many nice and supportive people in the hospital and the community.
