A 28-year-old Salem man has been arrested for aggravated battery in connection with a Friday night incident outside his home where he allegedly shoved and then struck a man in the shoulder with a hand tool.
Thomas Crooks of North Maple Street is also accused of threatening the man’s two children.
Salem Police say Crooks allegedly became upset with the three as they were walking their puppies by his home. He had come to the Police Station Monday night after hearing police were looking for him and was taken into custody.
