The Highland Bulldogs have advanced to the Class 3a baseball Final Four after winning their Super Sectional matchup at Milliken University yesterday 6-3 over Mahomet Seymour. The Bulldogs are 30-6 on the season and will play Friday afternoon at 1pm against Lemont at the Duly Health & Care Field in Joliet. The first game of the day will feature Morris and Crystal Lake Central.
The Edwardsville Tigers will also play in the 4a State Final Four after winning the Illinois Wesleyan Super Sectional 7-1 over Downers Grove North. The Tigers will play Friday at 4pm against Providence Catholic. The other semifinal will feature Elmhurst York taking on Hoffman Estates Conant.
