The prep girls soccer season ended over the weekend. The Althoff Lady Crusaders won the Class 1a state title at North Central College in Naperville shutting out Williamsville 1-0.
Des Plaines Willows Academy won the 3rd place match beating Chicago University 1-0.
In 2a, Triad fell in the state finals to Crystal Lake Central 1-0. In the 3rd place match, Peoria Notre Dame beat Burlington Central 3-1.
