The Salem Wildcats baseball team had a chance to wear the green and white one more time as they played at Busch Stadium on Sunday afternoon against Jasper, Indiana. It was a great day full of memorable experiences for all the coaches, players, and fans. Salem fell 9-0 in the game with Jasper playing out of a semi-pro men’s league in Indiana.
It was also the final game for Salem graduating seniors Gavin Zimmermann, Josh Powless, Nathan Paulson, and Kam Wilkins.
In the dugout after the game, coach Brian Lipe announced that junior Jalen Inlow and senior Gavin Zimmermann were named All Cahokia Conference.
