Belleville Althoff will play for the IHSA 1a girls soccer championship this afternoon with a 2:30 kickoff against Williamsville from North Central College in Naperville. The Lady Crusaders are in the game after knocking off Willows Academy in their semifinal match 2-0. Williamsville nipped Chicago University in their state opener 1-0.
Triad will also play for the 2a state title after knocking off Peoria Notre Dame 1-0 yesterday. They will kickoff at 4:30 today against Crystal Lake Central for the big trophy after Crystal Lake beat Burlington Central in their semifinal 2-0.
