In 1a sectional semifinals yesterday, South Central’s season came to an end falling to Windsor/Stew-Stras 10-0. The Lady Hatchets advances to take on Casey Westfield in the finals after their 13-0 win over Edwards County with both those games taking place in Altamont.
In 2a yesterday, at Carterville it was Johnston City beating Anna 2-1, Newton eliminated Wesclin at Greenville 3-1, and in a wild game at Monticello, St Anthony held on to beat St Joseph Ogden 11-10.
In 2a today, Carterville hosts Carmi and Mater Dei takes on Gillespie at Greenville.
