The Lake Land College Lakers are the 16th seed at the NJCAA D1 Softball National Tournament held in Oxford, Alabama. Lake Land dropped their opener to 17th seed Iowa Western 3-1.
Lake Land then beat 15th seed Hutchinson in their elimination game yesterday 5-2. In the win, Christ Our Rock grad Bryanna French pitched in relief for the save. She worked 3 innings and didn’t allow a base runner.
They will return to action today at 11am in another elimination game, this time against 10th seed Walters State.
