OVC Softball Tournament Continues Today, SEMO & EIU Open Up Tournament Action

The Ohio Valley Conference softball tournament is going on in Peoria through Saturday.

Today is a big day as 2nd seed Southeast Missouri State which includes Salem grad Delaney Kell, will take on 3rd seed Tennessee State at 10am.

The winner advances to the semifinal tomorrow at 1:30 against the winner of top seed Eastern Illinois and their standout pitcher Karlie McKinzie, who led the KC Blue Angels last year to a Juco World Series Elite 8 trip.  The Lady Panthers will take on 4th seed Southern Indiana.

The loser of the 10am game will play SIUE today at 3pm in an elimination game while the loser of EIU and USI will play  Tennessee Tech at 5:30 in the other elimination game.
