Shuler, Puricelli & Ward Compete At SIJHSAA State Golf With Good Results

After a 2 hour rain delay at the State Junior High Golf Tournament at Rend Lake Golf Course, the tournament finally was played.

Salem’s Reagan Shuler finished 7^th overall in the girls event shooting 94.  Salem’s Scout Puricelli was 48^th overall with a 105.  Selmaville’s Jaxon Ward was 9^th overall shooting an impressive 82.

Salem coach Jason Harris told WJBD/WSIQ he is proud of the effort, great lessons on how to play through adversity and he’s looking forward to seeing what this group can do at the high school level next fall.
