The Christ Our Rock Boys Track and Field Team placed 3rd at The Jared Morris Invitational today at Nashville High School with 53 pts, Bresse Mater Dei was 2nd with 56 pts and Nashville won the Invitational with 103 pts.
The 4×100 and 4X200 relay team of Landyn Mitchell, Elijah Gregory, Isaiah Lyons and Arda Gencel shined today, brining home 1st place in both events as they received their medals as a tribute was given to the late Jared Morris whom the Invitation was named after.
Landyn Mitchell would also continue his dominant season in the 110 Meter Hurdles as he would win the hurdles again (:15.41) and also the Long Jump (20’10”) giving him four 1st place medals on the day! Medal were given to the Top 3 in each event, as 6 placing individuals scored points.
