A large crowd was on hand for the Locust Street Historic Fair in downtown Centralia on Saturday.
Community Development Director Gayla Harting is appreciative to everyone who helped bring the event together.
“It takes a village to do things like this. So excited for Mr. and Mrs. Bierman winning the crowd favorite for the car show. So grateful for Centralia Cultural Society and Kerry Lee’s coming out to take care of the kids. That allows us to do free events for the children that were sponsored this year by Curry and Associates and we appreciate them so much. And Southern Illinois Power Days came over and brought their stuff.”
Harting says the event continues to grow each year.
