Marion County Sheriff Kevin Cripps says a passing car fired gunshots into a home in the village of Walnut Hill Monday morning.
The home was occupied, but no injuries were reported.
The sheriff’s department received a 911 call about the gunfire around eight am.
The department is seeking information on the owner or occupants of a while 2012 Silver Chevy Traverse that is believed to be involved in the shooting. Cripps says the subjects should be considered armed and dangerous.
