A Louisville motorcyclist was killed in a late Saturday night single-vehicle crash in Clay County.
Clay County Coroner Bryce Henry has identified the victim as 39-year-old Gregory Gumbel.
State Police say preliminary information indicates the motorcycle for unknown reasons went off of US 45 at Cottonwood Drive in rural Louisville and entered a culvert. The driver and sole occupant was ejected from the cycle. Gumbel was taken to Clay County Hospital Emergency Room where he later passed away.
Henry says an autopsy will be conducted.
The crash was reported at 11:06 Saturday night.
