It was a memorable day on Friday for Waltonville High School.
Softball pitcher Elyssa Schoenbaechler was dominant in a no-hit, perfect game against Wayne City. She struck out 12 batters in the process as the Lady Spartans won 14-0 to improve to 16-8.
On the same day, senior baseball pitcher Makabe Devor threw a perfect game in a 10-0 win over Wayne City. He struck out 8 and didn’t allow a base runner.
