The OBC Track Meet was held at Salem High School yesterday. The Selmaville Lady Rockets won the girls title with 154 points with Central City 2nd followed by Iuka, Field, Raccoon, Willow Grove and then Patoka.
The Lady Rockets broke 3 conference meet records in the 4×100 with Alana Howe, Alana Finney, Kenzie Lewis and Emily Guzman as well as the 4×200 team of Howe, Finney, Lewis and Kenna Benjamin. Also Alana Howe in the 7th grade 100m. Kenzi Lewis won the 200. Emily Parrott and Jorja English of Raccoon went 1-2 in the shot put.
Selmaville’s Gabby Gaston won the 400, Howe and Lewis went 1-2 in the 7th grade 100. Emily Guzman of Selmaville won the 8th grade 100. Raccoon’s Kylee Hall won the 800. Kinnley Eagan of Iuka won the high jump. Central City’s Addy Dukes won the long jump.
Central City won the boys title with 151 points followed by Selmaville with 105.5 and then Patoka was 3rd with 86. Field followed them and then Raccoon, Iuka and Willow Grove.
Selmaville’s Noah Gaston won the 1600. Patoka went 1-2 in the 100m hurdles with Quentin Faulkner and Ashtyn Hagan. Faulkner won the 7th grade 100. Central City’s Kruz Jackson and Talan Woodward were 1-2 in the varsity 100. Jackson also won the 200. Rockets Walker Crank won the shot put. Central City’s Jaxon Mikesell won the discus. Citians Will Smith won the high jump. Selmaville’s Gavin Harper won the long jump.
