The Lady Cats fall to 17-5 and 6-2 in the conference with a tough 5-4 loss to Freeburg. Lilly Blagoue struck out 9 in her 6 innings; Bre Thurman came in and struck out 3 in relief. At the plate Blagoue went 2-2 at the plate with 2 rbis including her 11th homerun of the year, Thurman hit a 2 run shot her 8th of the season and Olivia Paulson and Alivia Rasul added a hit a piece.
Odin beat Red Hill 9-3 to improve to 4-1 in the MTC. Hailey Lane had 3 hits including 2 home runs, Gwen Belcher added 2 hits with a hit each from Brooklynn Hill and Kenzi Wilkerson. Odin will host Wayne City Tuesday in the first round of the Midland Trail Conference Tournament.
