New School Record Set At Franklin Park Home Meet

The Franklin Park track team is back in action today at Highland.  Salem hosted a home meet on Monday with New Horizon, St Marys, Raccoon and Aviston.  Highlighting the meet, Salem’s 4×100 6th place team set a new school record in a time of 54.6.  That team includes Kendrick Mickens, Kaiden Washington, Eli Purdy and Ben Lux.  They broke the record set by the team of Caden Inlow, Caden Bee, Ethan Pride and Brayden Smith.

Silas Lux was a double winner in the shot and discus, Kyler King won the high jump and 100m and was 2nd in the discus, Nate Lowry won the pole vault, Jayce Morton the hurdles, Troy Keel won the long jump, Liam Shober the 7th grade 100, Kade orrell won the 8-00, Scout Puricellin won the 1600 and 200, Washington won the 6th grade 100.

For the Lady Bobcats, Morgan Honerkamp was 2nd in the shot, Braelen Knaak won the discus, Kinley Biegeleisen won the long jump and 6th grade 100, Teagen Lobek won the pole vault, Quinn Wolfe won the 400 and Breanna Pennypacker 2nd in the 6th grade 100.
