The Salem Lady Wildcats are 16-4, 5-1 in the Cahokia Conference as they head to Columbia to take on the Lady Eagles.
Salem got some revenge on one of their losses by knocking of Mount Vernon on the road yesterday 9-3. Bre Thurman was the winning pitcher going all 7 innings scattering 8 hits and striking out 5 with 2 earned runs allowed. At the plate, Lilly Blagoue homered, doubled and drove in 3 runs. Olivia Paulson added a double going 3-4 with 2 RBI, Mya Russell had the other double on the day and added 2 RBI. Alivia Rasul and Nat Lee added RBI.
