Selmaville Superintendent David Lund.

The Selmaville Grade School District received eight applications to become the district’s new superintendent before Monday’s deadline.

The person selected will replace David Lund who earlier resigned to become the Superintendent of the Brownstown School District beginning July first.

Lund is in his second year as Selmaville Superintendent.   He feels his biggest success was helping the community and students to grow.

The Selmaville School District has finalized two summer projects.

The gym floor will be resurfaced after it is taken back to the wood surface.  The new floor will have ‘Selmaville’ incorporated into the design.  Designs Unlimited has been awarded the contract to do the work.  It will be paid for with the one cent sales tax money coming to the school.

The board has also approved blacktop patching of the parking lot.
