The Christ Our Rock Lady Stallions Track and Field team was at Benton Today for the Don Webb Invitational, while the Stallion Boys headed to Mcleansboro for The Hamilton Co. Foxes Invitational.
For the Girls Sr. Sarah Mckowen placed 2nd in the 3200 meter run (13:26) While teammate Rylee Brammeier was 7th in the race (14:16). Mckowen also placed 7th in the 1600 meter run. Lady Stallion throwers Madi Nolte and Chloe Tate also competed. Tate was 16th out of 30 in the Discus (72’00”) while Nolte was 22nd out of 30 in the Discus and 23rd out of 30 in the Shot Put
For the Stallion Boys it was another very strong meet as several Stallion boys placed and also saw personal best times on a hot day. Soph. Landyn Mitchell continued to dominate in the 110 Meter Hurdles, winning the event in :15.46! Here is how the other Stallions finished today:
2nd place: Isaiah Lyons-400 meter dash (:54.40) Breaking his own school record!!!, Arda Gencel-200 meter dash (:24.60)
3rd place:Landyn Mitchell-Long Jump (18’4″), Carson Pigg-1600 meter run (5:07.1)(PR)
4th place: Zerek Koch-3200 meter run (12:02.1), Landyn Mitchell-High Jump 5’8″, 4X100 relay-Landy Mitchell, Elijah Gregory, Isaiah Lyons, Arda Gencel
5th Place: Zerek Koch-1600 meter run (5:11.5), 4X800 relay-Carson Pigg, Wyatt Gregory, Aiden Hildreth, Anderson Engele 4X400 relay-Alton Davis, Anderson Engele, Aiden Hildreth, Elijah Gregory
6th place: Carson Pigg-800 meter run (2:23.8), Elijah Gregory-1600 meter run (5:32.2)
