Busy Weekend Again For Salem Anglers

Saturday kicked off at East Fork for the Salem anglers. Ben Ryan and Aaden Rostance led the way with a 25th place finish. Wyatt McCarty, Landen Maxey 32nd, Archer Tucker, Peyton Durham 33rd, Lucas Hodge, Zane Barthelemy 48th and Cooper Lobeck, Colten Starnes 58th.

Kai Graham and Jaxon Ward competed at Newton Saturday in the ICASSTT Jr division and weighed in a 5 fish limit for over 13lbs to claim a 3rd place finish.

Sunday the High School anglers were back at Newton competing against 91 teams. All 5 Salem teams weighed in a 5 fish limit while we put 3 teams in the top 10. Mya Russell and Peyton Durham led the way with 16.13 for 8th, Cooper Lobek, Colten Starnes 16.05 for 9th, Lucas Hodge, Zane Barthelemy 16.04 for 10th, Ben Ryan, Aaden Rostance 11.03 for 46th and Wyatt McCarty, Landen Maxey 9.08 for 57th.

Wrapping up the ICASSTT Southern Division this weekend a Congratulations goes out Cooper Lobek and Colten Starnes for Qualifying for the ICASSTT Clash Championship to be held on Lake Springfield in June.

Saturday and Sunday in Anderson South Carolina on Lake Hartwell 220 boats took to the water in Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series in the Hartwell Slam where Hunter Russell and Benny Blank finished in 94th with 21.91 and Brogan Gregg, Peyton Rose in 123 with 19.51.
