The Salem Fresh/Soph boys competed at Highland yesterday.
Salem went 1-2 in the high jump with Madden Thompson clearing 6-1 to set a new freshman record breaking Ryegan Warren’s set last year of 6-foot. Avery Gullion was 2nd clearing 5-10.
Alex Spencer won the 300m hurdles in 45.02, Hunter Malan was 2nd in the 3200 with Robby Shober 4th, Morgan Mickens was 2nd in the discus going 140-1 with Trey Clark 8th, Darryll Kaufman was 2nd in the shot, Holden Richardson 3rd in the pole vault clearing 11-foot. Riley Tate was 3rd in the triple jump and Caylan Patterson 8th.
