The Salem 13u was in tournament play this weekend. They lost both games on Saturday falling in their opener to the host Marion Wildcats 6-3. Zane Applegate drove in 2 runs with Kai Graham adding an RBI. Graham and Trygg Aaron pitched for the Cats.
Salem then dropped their other pool play game to the Z20 Batz 4-3. Colton Tockstein and Rhett Starnes drove in runs with multi-hit games. Bentley Bryan also had a hit. Tockstein, Applegate, Jax Schaubert and Bryan all pitched.
On Sunday, Salem was eliminated by Sparta 6-4. Graham homered, Rhett Starnes also drove in a run along with Kellen Nix.
