The Southern Illinois Coaches Association has released their Girls All-South Teams and Coaches of the Year in Class 1A-2A-3A.
In 1a the Coach of the Year was Haylee Bowers of Okawville. Included on the Team was Woodlawn’s Jase Burkett.
2a COY was Demsey Witte of Nashville. There were 4 Hornettes on the squad, Emma Behrmann, Samantha Brinkmann, Summer Brinkmann and Makayla Gajewski; also Emily Baggett of Pinckneyville.
The 3a COY was Jacob Emling of Errin and Mount Vernon’s Jeff Lonnon. On the team were Centralia’s Jalea Shered and Jasaiyah Wallace along with Mount Vernon’s Tiara Johnson, Kamaree Pollard and Melaina Zedalis.
