Today in prep baseball, the SC Cougars are at Windsor/Stew-Stras. Over the weekend, the Cougars won a pair of games. On Friday, they knocked off Ramsey 11-1 in five innings. Coen West homered, doubled and drove in a pair with RBI also from Brody Markley, Maddux Robb, Trevan Sidwell and Zane Montes. Montes got the win going 2 innings.
The Cougars then traveled to Pinckneyville and won 10-1. C. Smith and West homered. West went 3-3 with a double as well and drove in 2, Hudson Moore also had 2 RBI. Markley was the winning pitcher going 2.1 allowing 2 hits and 1 earned run, Sidwell worked the final 4.2 innings.
