The Annual Lions All Star boys and girls high school games will be Friday at Rend Lake College. The annual event showcases many of the best seniors in the area. The girls game starts at 6 and the boys at 8. There will also be a dunk contest and 3 point showdown. This is the 45th year for the event.
The girls Purple Team will include Centralia’s Jalea Shered, Chloe Carter of Christ Our Rock, Abby Knepp of Nashville and Mount Vernon’s Maelee Allen and Kylie Poole. Area athletes on the Gold Team are Romane Dumay of Centralia as well as Woodlawn’s Jase Burkett and Olivia Skinner.
The Boys Gold team includes Christ Our Rock’s Parker Boehne. The Purple Team will include Equinton Milsap and Navontae Nesbit of Mount Vernon, Armoni Dempsey of Sandoval and Woodlawn’s Wyatt Rollie and Josh Lewis.
