The Illinois Basketball Coaches Association announced the 10 candidates for the award of Mr Basketball of Illinois.
Those included as a finalist is Benton junior Docker Tedeschi. The 6-8 forward is uncommitted. Voting will take place over the next few weeks.
Docker is a finalist along with PJ Chambers of DePaul College Prep, Angela Ciaravino of Chicago Mt Carmel and committed to Northwestern; Gianni Cobb from Homewood Flossmoor and committed to Columbia; Illinois Chicago commit Carlos Harris of Curie; Lawrence Phillips of Chicago Phillips; Morez Johnson of Harvey Thornton going to Illinois; Iowa commit Cooper Koch of Metamora; Lathan Sommerville of Peoria Richwoods going to Rutgers; Jack Stanton of Downers Grove North going to Princeton.
