Salem kicks off their spring season hosting the first ICASSTT mini of the spring season at Newton lake. 50 anglers took to the water Sunday to fill their 3 bass limits on a cold windy day. Ross Deters took the win with 11.2 lbs, 2nd Brennan Barnett 11.0 lbs, Riley Durel 10.15 lbs, Mya Russell 10.13 lbs and Austin Bloemer 10.5 lbs rounding out the top 5. Salem will be back in action Saturday and Sunday at Lake Egypt for ICASST events with Salem hosting Sundays event sponsored by Tri-Ag Distributors.
