Zach Hicks posted season highs with six 3-pointers and 20 points and 11th-seeded Penn State defeated 14-seed Michigan 66-57 in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament on Wednesday.
Donta Scott scored 16 points and Maryland dominated the first 30 minutes of play in a 65-51 victory over Rutgers on the first day of the Big Ten Tournament.
The Tournament continues today as 9th seed Minnesota takes on #8 Michigan State at 11, followed by Maryland and #5 Wisconsin. Then 10th seed Ohio State takes on #7 Iowa with that winner getting Illinois tomorrow. The final game today is Penn State taking on #6 Indiana.
