The IHSA state boys basketball season finished up Saturday at the State Farm Center in Champaign with 4 state championship games.

1A:  Mounds Meridian magic ran out as they fell to West Central 62-43.  Zack Evans dominated the game for West Central who won their first ever state title, finishing with 27 points and 13 rebounds.  Chance Little added 19.  Antonio Flenoid Jr led the Bobcats with 13.

2a:  The Benton Rangers played their first ever State Championship game and came up short falling in the 2a championship to Wendell Phillips Academy 54-47.  Isaac Billington led the Rangers with 19 and Evan Munoz finished with 11.  Lawrence Horton and Phoenix Childs had 13 each for Phillips with Amari Edwards adding a dozen.

3A:  DePaul College Prep won the 2a state title last year.  They moved up to 3a and repeated as state champs beating Chicago Mt Carmel 49-41.  Makai Kuamme had 18 in the win followed by Rob Walls with 10. In the loss, Mt Carmel got 24 from Angelo Ciarvano.

 
4A:  Homewood Flossmoor got 21 points from Bryce Heard and 15 from Jayden Tyler in their 60-48 win over Normal in the 4a title game.  Carson Brownfield added 12.  In the loss for Normal, Braylon Roman had 18 and Noah Cleveland finished with 13.
