Marilyn (Ramsey) Hilliard, cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 27th, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on September 20th, 1942 in Bergman, Arkansas the daughter of Eugene and Helen (Pahl) Ramsey.

Marilyn dedicated 27 years of her life as an LPN at the Warren G. Murray Center, where her expertise and kindness left a lasting impact on those she cared for. An LPN for over 58 years, Marilyn’s commitment to nursing and caregiving extended beyond her professional life, as she was a devoted caregiver to many family members and a volunteer “pink lady” at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Her life was rich with simple joys—she found great pleasure in assembling puzzles, and creating beautiful works through crocheting and knitting. Marilyn was also an enthusiastic gardener, delighting in the beauty of the flowers and plants she nurtured.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jeff Hilliard; parents, Eugene and Helen (Pahl) Ramsey; and her brothers, Mike Ramsey, Robert Ramsey, and Steve Ramsey. She is survived by her loving children, Tina Kelly and husband Terry, Trish Livesay, and Jim Nadolski and partner Cole Hiller. Her legacy continues to inspire her grandchildren, Jordan Kelly and wife Shelbi, Tara Kelly, Amber Smith, and Colton Smith; as well as her great-grandchildren, Ian Connaway, Ava Clinard, Izzy Clinard, and Brendan Kelly.

At this time, no public services will be held locally. In remembrance of her life, a graveside service will be held at a later date at the York Cemetery in Bergman, Arkansas, bringing together family and friends to celebrate her enduring spirit and cherished memories.
