The return of the Salem Home Show on Saturday was a success.

Executive Director Kelli Predium says no one was sure what to expect after the show returned following a five year absence as a result of COVID-19.

“I am super impressed with the way the Salem community showed up for the Home Show.  I think there was well over 1000 people that came through these doors today.”

Predium says all the vendors were pleased with the crowd and the number of potential customers they were able to visit. With the positive results, the community center plans to hold the show again next year.

Predium says they do have a few issues to work on.

“We definitely have some parking that needs to be settled.  We are going to be looking for some volunteers to drive shuttles back and forth to transport people so they don’t have to walk after parking 4 blocks away.”

All the proceeds from the show are going towards operation of the center.

Salem Township Hospital reported they sold just under 600 low cost blood test vouchers from its booth at the home show.
