The Salem Lady Wildcats competed this past Saturday at the SIU-C indoor high school track meet.
Hannah Smith placed 3rd out of 46 throwers in the shot put with a throw of 32’11”. Ella Smith took 9th with a throw of 28’ 11”.
Finley Puricelli had a good day taking 3rd in the 400 meters out of 47 runners in a time of 1:04 and 3rd place in the high jump clearing 4’11” .
In the 200 meter Avery Robinson took 12th out of 54 runners in a time of 28.58. Eden Gallia was 23rd with a time of 29.64.
Maci Thorsen placed 20th out of 44 runners in the 1600 meter.
The girls will start the outdoor season March 19th at home.
