June A. Douglas, 80, of Centralia, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Carlyle Healthcare.
She was born June 24, 1944, in Keysport, Illinois, the daughter of Elisa Hart and Suzanne (Howard) Hart. June married John Douglas in 1999 and he survives.
In addition to her husband of 26 years: John Douglas of Centralia, June is also survived by her children: Debra Mighell of Salem, Nancy Potter of Odin,
Shawn Hutton of Centralia, and Jonathan Robbins of Centralia; son-in-law: Robbie Hegwood of Centralia; grandchildren: Myra Arnold and husband Greg of Centralia, Megan Williams of Centralia, Jacob Potter and wife Brittany, Dani Casares and husband Steven of Fort Hood, Texas, Joseph Hutton of Centralia, Katie Hegwood of Carlyle and Nathaniel Hegwood of Centralia; 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Elisa and Suzanne Hart, daughter: Christina Hegwood, three sisters: Sandra Macke, Nancy Hart, and Iona Wilkerson, and two brothers: Lester Hart and Bill Hart, sons-in-law: Kenneth Mighell and Phil Potter.
June was the cook at Big O’s and was formerly the head cook at Centralia Estates for many years, which she loved. She also loved riding motorcycles with her husband, John, when she was younger. She enjoyed the Centralia Balloon Fest each year, playing the accordion and was of the Christian faith.
Funeral services for June will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at 4:00 pm at Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia. Visitation will be held at 2:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
