The Salem Lady Wildcats trailed by as many as 13 points in the 2nd half. Their defense came to play in the fourth quarter holding Freeburg to just 1 point, but it was just short as Salem fell 45-43 on Senior Night at B.E. Gum. Salem was led by Emma Gregg and Jordan Kessler with 9 each as they dropped their 2nd straight game. Senior’s Ivy Donoho, Kayla Felgenhaur and Madison Freiboth were honored before the varsity only contest. Salem returns to action at home tomorrow when they host Mascoutah.
