The Centralia City Council Monday night will be asked to seek bids on the sale of five surplus properties where dilapidated buildings have been torn down.
The property is at 127 South Locust, lot 7 Dunbar Lane on Raccoon Lake, 1011 Hester, 615 North Hickory, and 129 and 135 North Maple.
The council will be asked to approve the National Boat Racing Association boat races on Raccoon Lake for August 24th and 25th with testing on Thursday and Friday August 22nd and 23rd. Organizer Alan Owen has asked for the new dates after the council rejected holding the event on Balloon Fest weekend.
The meeting gets underway at 6:00 Monday night at Centralia City Hall.
