Shawna Sue McDaneld, age one of Odin, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Salem Township Hospital.
Shawna was born on August 14, 2023, the daughter of Jeffrey and Shawnee (Thompson) McDaneld.
In addition to her parents, Shawna is survived by her loving sister, Elizabeth McDaneld; paternal grandparents, Patty and Rex Messervy and Jeffrey Keith McDaneld; maternal grandparents, Steve and Linda Thomson; and several aunts and an uncle.
She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandparents, Claude Sr. and Hazel Howell; and maternal great-grandfather, James Thomspon.
Shawna Sue loved playing with her big sister and mommy laying on her daddy and watching TV. She had the sweetest laugh and was a happy baby.
A Funeral Service for Shawna Sue McDaneld will be held at 11:30 am on Monday, January 13, 2025, at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem with her great-uncle Claude Howell, officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until the time of the service. The interment will be in Peaceful Valley Cemetery in Odin.
