Jack A. Green, 75, of Centralia passed away peacefully on January 7, 2025, at Centralia Manor.

Jack was born November 5, 1949, in Centralia, the son of Jack A. Green Sr. and Helen (Casseday) Green. He married Toni R. Zack Green on November 3, 1973, in Centralia and she preceded him in death on November 28, 2016.

Jack is survived by his two daughters: Tamie Wooters and husband Jeff of Centralia, and Michele Kirchner and husband Brian of Centralia; six grandchildren: Taylor Guern and husband Jarrod of Odin, Zackary Weaver, of Centralia, Blake Justin and wife Abbi of Centralia; Calleigh Kirchner of DuQuoin, Coy Kirchner of Centralia, Nevaeh Kirchner of DuQuoin; five great grandchildren: Everly and Renlee Guern, Eli, Jack , and Liam Weaver; a sister Judy Green Riley of Mt. Vernon, and a brother Jeff Green of Mt. Vernon.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Helen Green and his Father in law Raymond Zack and Mother in Law Elizabeth “Liz” Zack.

In his younger years, Jack served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. Together Jack and Toni were the owners of G & G Services in Centralia for 25 years. Jack was always full of life and always had a kind word for everyone he came in contact with, always willing to lend a hand to all, Jack enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and he will be dearly missed by all.

Funeral Services for Jack A. Green will be held Monday, January 13, 2025, at 7:00 pm at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia with Pastor Claude Howell officiating. Military rites will be accorded at the Funeral Home on Monday evening by the American Legion Post 446 and the V.F.W. Post 2055. A visitation will be held Monday, January 13, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Funeral Home before the time of service.
