One person was injured in a single-vehicle crash Friday afternoon on Route 37 near the Church Road intersection just south of Salem.
Preliminary information from State Police indicates the driver of the car was traveling southbound when she attempted to pass the vehicle in front of them, lost control, and traveled into the northbound oncoming lanes of traffic before coming to rest in the ditch on the left side of the road.
The driver’s name has not been released.
The driver was transported to a local hospital with suspected minor injuries.
The crash occurred at approximately one Friday afternoon.
