Billie Joe Johnston, 60, of Odin, passed away at his home on Sunday, October 20, 2024.
He was born on September 27, 1964, in Salem, Illinois to Charles E. and Mildred Nadine (Swafford) Johnston.
In January 2010, he married Tina M. Johnston and she preceded him in death on August 20, 2024.
Billie is survived by a daughter, Pamela (Jason) Krein of Sandoval; brothers, Ray Hill of Missouri, Glen Charles Johnston of Missouri, John Cecil Johnston of Mt. Vernon, and Ronald Johnston and Samuel Johnston, both of Odin; a sister, Cecelia Nadine Johnston of Odin, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mildred Johnston; his wife, Tina Johnston; two nephews, Mason Johnston and Ronald Lee Johnston II; brothers, Richard Hill and James Virgil Johnston and a sister, Elsa Mae Pitts.
Billie loved his family and he had two dogs that he really loved too. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and listening to old-time music.
Per Billie’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and there will be no public service.
