Roger Lynn Albert, age 69 of Salem, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Salem Township Hospital.
Mr. Albert was a lifelong resident of Salem. Roger was born on July 3, 1955 in Salem, the son of the late Loren and Emogene (Caldwell) Albert.
Roger was a kind, loving, caring person. He enjoyed being outdoors. He loved collecting jewels, listening to music, and tinkering with things.
Survivors include his siblings, Kenny Albert and wife Daisy, and Susie Austin and husband Jeff all of Salem. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends from Salem Manor of the Woods where he resided.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ray, Keith, and Larry Albert, and sisters, Wanda Davis, Barbara Hoffman, and Marth Flaugher.
Graveside services for Roger L. Albert will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. at Martin Cemetery in Alma, Illinois. Crouse Funeral Home in Salem is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences and memories can be left at www.CrouseFH.com.
