The Salem Wildcats soccer team earned a home win over visiting Wesclin 5-3. Salem got on the board first with a Robbie Shober goal followed up by an Eli Baker score to make it 2-0. Wesclin would score on a corner kick to make it 2-1 at the halftime break.
Eli Baker punched an early 2nd half goal in to increase the Salem lead to 3-1, but 2 straight goals from Wesclin made it 3-3. Baker would add his 3rd goal of the game and Shober added another to give Salem the win.
They are back in action tomorrow when they head to Massac County.
