Both drivers signed medical refusals following a two-vehicle crash at Barton and 14th Street near Junction City Thursday night.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department reports a southbound utility vehicle driven by 47-year-old Susan Higgins of Harrison Avenue in Junction City was making a left turn from Barton to 14th when it collided with a northbound pickup on Barton Road driven by 18-year-old Brock Beckman of Red Stripe Road in Sandoval.
Sandoval Fire EMTs were called to the scene to check out the two drivers who declined treatment.
Higgins was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
The crash occurred at 8:20 on Thursday night.
