Charles “Chuck” Hall, 66, of Savanah, Tennessee formerly of Centralia, Illinois, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.
He was born July 12, 1958 in Centralia, the son of Kenneth Hall and Edith M. (Klingenberg) Hall. He married Linda Jones on August 30, 2008 at the Illinois State Fair in Du Quoin, Illinois and she survives.
In addition to his mother, Edith Hall of Centralia and his wife of 16 years, Linda Hall of Savanah, Tennessee, Chuck is also survived by his son: Joe K. Chumley and Amber Sloat of Salem; his step children: Bill Radcliffe and wife Bethany of Greenville, Illinois, Kelly Radcliffe and husband David Diechman of Shiloh, Illinois and Laura McClenagan and husband Nick of Glen Carbon, Illinois; nine grandchildren; a brother: Sam Hall of Centralia; three sisters: Donna Collier and husband Mike of Odin, Patty Long and husband Gary of Centralia, and Marsha Nichols of Centralia; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father: Kenneth Hall and a brother: Kenny Hall.
Chuck worked for 41 years for Burlington Northern-Santa Fe railroad (BNSF). He loved spending time with his family and friends.
Per his wishes, cremation rites were accorded in Tennessee and a visitation will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia.
