The Salem Wildcats golf team stayed hot to start their season winning a tri-match at Mount Vernon shooting 162 to the Rams 177 and Centralia 193. Salem was led by Jairen Stroud who shot 36, Landen Maxey added 39, Cale Harris 42 and Logan Lockhart 45. Kyler Sapp added a 46 and Rhett Detering 49.
Christ Our Rock competed at Greenview Golf Course with Sandoval and Metro East Lutheran with MEL coming away with the team win shooting 164 to Sandoval’s 185 and the Stallions shot 206.
Individually, Christ Our Rock’s Parker Boehne was medalist shooting 36. Tim Meyer added 52, Tommy Cox 56 and Silas George finished with a 62. For Sandoval, Tristan Green and Beau Chapman shot 44 and 45 with 48’s from Owen Landreth and Ben Spencer. Ryan Suhre led MEL with a 37.
