A 51-year-old Central City woman escaped serious injury when her car left the Racetrack Road south of Route 161 east of Centralia early Friday morning and overturned.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department reports Gala Obrist of North Douglas Street did not seek hospital treatment. Both the Centralia Fire Protection District and United Medical Response were called to the scene.
The crash occurred at 12:31 Friday morning. Obrist was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
