It was a big day at Salem Country Club as the Salem Wildcats hosted Christ Our Rock. The Cats tied a home school record from 1984 with a 145. That included an individual record tying day from Jairen Stroud who fired a 4-under, 32 in taking the win, nipping the Stallions Parker Boehne who shot 2-under 34. Stroud tied the mark set back in 1997.
Cale Harris added 36, Kyler Sapp was great shooting 38 and freshman Landen Maxey added 39. Logan Lockhart and Rhett Detering shot 40 and 41 respectively. Christ Our Rock got a 69 from Tim Meyer and 58 from Tommy Cox as they had only 3 golfers.
Salem returns to action today when they travel to Mount Vernon to play the Rams.
