The Salem Lady Bobcats are 2-1 after a 6-0 win over Woodlawn in the Salem home opener. Allison Thurman was the winning pitcher. Kendall Zimmermann and Morgan Honerkamp led the way with 2 hits. Thurman drove in 2 runs. Zimmermann, Reagan Shuler, Quinn Wolfe and Emma Lipe each drove in a run. Adysen Pracht got her first varsity hit. Salem will head to the Fairfield Tournament tomorrow.

Iuka defeated Odin 16-1 to advance to today’s OBC Tournament semifinals. Katee Sellers got the win striking out 7. Emily Jones had 3 hits and 7 RBI. Kenley Cripps had 2 hits and Iuka got RBI also from Ava Reed, Kenzie McGinnis, Rylee Wilson. Today, Iuka will play 2nd seed Selmaville at 4pm at Odin City Park.
