The Middle School softball season continues today as South Central takes their 2-0 record to Webster Field in Kinmundy to take on Dieterich.
The Lady Falcons beat Dieterich in a tri-match over the weekend to open their season winning 13-0. Maddie Peddicord threw the four-inning no-hitter allowing just one base runner due to an error. At the plate, Jayda Neilson doubled and drove in 3 runs, Peddicord added a triple with 2 RBI along with Baylee Brown. Claire Chasteen drove in a run along with Kyndi Bolen.
The Lady Falcons also beat Ramsey 14-1. Addy Ruholl struck out 11 and didn’t walk anyone in the win. At the plate, Peddicord and Neilson both doubled with Annie and Addy Ruholl combining for 5 hits and 5 RBI with Emmie Ruholl adding an RBI along with Chasteen and Neilson. Bolen had another good game with a hit and 3 RBI.
Also today, Sandoval is set to open their season as they travel to Central City.
The Franklin Park Lady Bobcats will open up their season tomorrow with a road trip to Odin.
